One of my favorite features so far in SharePoint 2010 is Visio Services. Pick your data, any data, and Visio can make a visual representation out of it. Sales figures; sure thing. Data based on states or region, we've got dynamic maps! Room scheduling; why not? Server status; you bet! CXOs, IT, Marketing, they are all going to love this.

In SharePoint Server 2010 the Site Directory has been deprecated, meaning that on new installations of SharePoint Server 2010 you cannot create and have a functional Site Directory; however, the Web Template and configuration options associated with the Site Directory have been retained, though strictly for backwards compatibility support.
